About Playbox
Nursery
Situated in the heart of Truro, opposite New County Hall and close to local businesses, Playbox Nursery is ideally located for commuting families, with easy access via the A390 and just a 5-minute walk from Truro train station.
Rated Good by Ofsted, we offer a vibrant, child-centred environment for children aged 0–5. Alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), our enriching curriculum includes forest school, football, yoga, French, cookery, gardening, construction play, and twice-daily movement-to-music sessions to support every child’s development.
Our under 2s benefit from a dedicated, temperature-controlled sleep room with a no-shoes policy, promoting rest and hygiene. We also focus on sensory-rich activities that encourage exploration and joyful learning.
Outdoors, children enjoy two decked areas for free-flow play and a large, mature apple orchard that inspires discovery and connection with nature.
At Playbox Nursery, we nurture confident, happy learners through meaningful play and supportive care.
