Welcome to Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School in Charlton Heights — a bright, purpose-built setting in the heart of Charlton Hayes, Bristol. Situated directly opposite Charlton Wood Primary School and close to local amenities including the doctor’s surgery, Sainsbury’s Local, and the library, we offer families an ideal and accessible location with designated parent parking for smooth drop-offs and collections.

Our nursery provides calm, neutral environments and secure outdoor areas that support our all-day free-flow approach to learning. Carefully chosen resources inspire children to explore, experiment, and engage in meaningful play, both indoors and out.

At the heart of everything we do is our Where Children Shine Curriculum — a bespoke early years framework designed to promote curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. As part of our strong community links, children regularly visit the nearby library and local care home, supporting intergenerational connections and enriching their social development.

Meet The Manager

Steph Jones

Hello! My name is Steph and I am the manager at Charlton Heights. I have worked with young children my entire career, starting off by running children’s birthday parties! I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2014, specialising in children aged 3-7 years old. I am passionate about the early years and how vital it is that we get it right, giving our little people the best possible start to life.

Our Unique Curriculum

Happy Days has developed an ambitious, broad and balanced Early Years Curriculum titled “Where Children Shine”. It provides opportunities for children to learn, explore and discover, whilst attending a Happy Days Nursery.
