Our wonderful, recently refurbished nursery is located just off the A39, renant Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Wadebridge. The nursery is run by a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated staff who are passionate about providing the best qualified childcare and education.

This 44 place nursery is divided into 2 areas which include an under 2’s area for children aged 3 months to 2 years and the over 2’s rooms for children from 2 years until they go to school. The under 2’s area is run by Naomi and her team. The area is divided into comfy cosy spaces from which babies can feel safe to explore from, spaces for messy and creative play, a quiet space to relax and go to sleep in and a large area where young children can safely develop their gross motor skills. The area also has its own raised decking area which can be accessed directly by the children.

The over 2’s area is made up of 2 rooms. The Toddler room which is run by Carrie and her team provides opportunities within all 6 areas of learning to enable children to explore and develop their independence. The Pre-school room continues supporting the children to develop and grow and prepares them for their next stage of going to school. The environment enables the children to access play and learning opportunities of their interest and choice. The preschool staff led by Claire, extend this learningthrough planned activities which are designed following detailed observations of each child. The Pre-school room has a wonderful view of, and direct access to, the garden. The outdoor area is sheltered by lots of trees providing natural shade in the summer; places for mobiles and bird feeders to hang and be watched and listened to.

Children are provided with a healthy snack in the morning, hot freshly prepared meals at lunchtime and afternoon tea. Special dietary needs can be catered for. We have a great Pirates Club which runs every day offering before / after school and holiday care for our school aged children. We have our own vehicle and offer a pick up and drop off facility to and from local schools. The Pirates Club is run by Theresa who has a great reputation at all our local schools and with parents, for her dedication to keeping the children safe and secure whilst on the road. She is a qualified play leader and offers her ‘pirates’ some fantastic activities. In the holidays she takes the children to join our Newquay pirates, providing them with even more opportunities to have fun and make new friends.
