We opened our first nursery in 1991 and now operate 39 nurseries throughout the South and Wales!
With over thirty years of expert experience and an ethos to support children to become strong and motivated learners for life, we pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to work and live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard.

We have had a fantastic experience with Happy Days. All the staff are friendly, caring, and really seem to love what they do. Our child settles in quickly and looks forward to seeing the nursery leaders and her friends. She always has a great day and loves the food. It’s been really lovely seeing her form relationships. She will miss her friends and all the staff. We would recommend Happy Days to anyone.

The best environment for children. The staff have all been a part of my son’s journey. He’s now an amazing little boy who is looking forward to big school. They have given him the confidence he needed and have been patient with him when he’s found things hard. Truly amazing.

Both my children have attended Happy Days in Summercourt and the wonderful staff have helped them grow emotionally and physically. The staff are warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, and consistent with the care they provide. The site is a great central location, with lots of parking. The children’s rooms have lots of toys and regular activities. The staff are flexible to the individual needs and interests of each child: quite simply the place is awesome!

My daughter loves nursery, she didn’t at the start but with the settling-in hours she was able to gain trust with the staff and now loves it! Thank you so much you have changed our little baby into a little girl!

We recently completed our settling in sessions and to say I was slightly anxious would be an understatement. The staff handled my Mum worries perfectly. I feel like our son is safe and thriving at nursery. We are so pleased with our choice to place him at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool.

This is a brilliant nursery where my child has thrived and developed so well. The team are amazing and we couldn’t ask for better. As a child who was initially reserved and likes routine, the nursery have helped him come out of his shell and have routines he can follow and has become used to. Couldn’t recommend this setting enough!

I have always found the staff friendly, approachable, kind and caring. Both of my children have attended the nursery one now starting school, but every time he revisits with me they always make an effort with him and include him still. Shows how lovely and thoughtful they are. The activities they put on are fantastic and my daughter really does love going to nursery. There is always something fun, interactive and new for her to do. The ladies, staff and management at Summercourt are fantastic and my daughter always has a great day. Thank you.

It’s been a busy few days at Happy Days Saltford and we couldn’t resist sharing some of the wonderful moments from preschool this week! 👨🍳 Let’s Cook – Gingerbread Men! After falling in love with The Gingerbread Man story last week, the children had a fantastic time bringing the book to life by baking their very own gingerbread men. They measured, mixed, rolled and cut the dough, practising lots of early maths, fine motor skills and storytelling along the way. And of course… they tasted delicious! 🔊 Outdoor Science Experiment We took our curiosity outside to see if we could move sand without using our hands. Using a metal bowl covered in cling film and the power of our voices, the children discovered that sound can make the sand dance and create patterns. A perfect bit of hands-on science and awe and wonder! 🍁 Acts of Kindness For Kindness Day, the children collected beautiful leaves from the garden and surprised the team with handmade leaf bouquets at our kindness tree. Such a thoughtful, heart-warming moment and a lovely reminder of the caring community they’re growing together. We love seeing their interests spark new learning opportunities each week. 🌟 ~ Happy Days Nursery, Saltford

Here’s a little look at what we’ve achieved together this year: 🍽️ 3,120,000 meals served 🎶 10,140 Boogie Mites sessions enjoyed 🎉 382 events held for our families and communities ⏰ 101,400 hours of childcare provided ⏳ 6,084,000 minutes of care, comfort, and support ⚽ 300 children completed Let’s Kick It 🎓 1,026 children completed their Positive Transition to School And when it comes to favourite activities? No surprise here… 🎨 Messy play 🌿 Outdoor adventures 📚 Story time 🎵 Boogie Mites 💧 Water play … topped the list! Thank you to every child, family and team member who made this year so special.
